Science
At Cambridge International School, our online science curriculum is all about sparking a lifelong love for science. With twice-weekly live-taught sessions, we cover the essentials of biology, chemistry, and physics, aligning with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Our lessons are designed to expand students’ scientific knowledge and understanding, offering a hands-on approach to different types of scientific enquiry. These online science classes for primary school students encourage them to explore and answer questions about the world around them.
Continuous assessments are a key part of our online science program. During live sessions, our teachers regularly assess students through marked work, assignments, and tests. This ongoing evaluation ensures that students fully grasp the material and develop the skills they need for success in Key Stage 2 science.
Homework plays an important role in reinforcing what’s been covered in our science classes. At the end of each half-term, we assign science projects that tie directly into the topics from our online lessons. These projects are designed to deepen understanding and fuel further curiosity in our Key Stage 2 students.
We keep parents in the loop with 24/7 access to their child’s work through our secure online portal. Plus, we hold three parent consultations per year—one each term—to go over progress, address any concerns, and set future learning goals.
Our science program is thoughtfully designed to deliver a comprehensive and engaging education, setting students up for future success in the subject.
