PSHE
Our Personal, Social, Health, and Economic (PSHE) education program is all about supporting the overall development of students aged 7 to 11. Our curriculum is carefully crafted to help children understand and manage their emotions, build positive relationships, and make smart choices about their health and well-being.
Through interactive lessons and activities, students dive into important topics like self-esteem, empathy, diversity, and online safety. We also focus on teaching essential life skills such as critical thinking, resilience, and teamwork. Our aim is to create a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and empowered, preparing them to tackle the challenges and seize the opportunities of modern life.
Continuous assessments are a key part of our online PSHE program. During live-taught lessons, teachers regularly evaluate students through marked coursework, assignments, and tests. This ongoing assessment ensures that students have a solid understanding of the material and are developing the skills they need to thrive.
To help solidify what’s been covered in class, we assign homework at the end of each half-term. These projects are tied to the current theme and give students a practical way to apply what they’ve learned in our online PSHE classes.
We make it easy for parents to stay informed about their child’s progress. With 24/7 access to all their child’s work, assignments, and grades through our secure online portal, parents can always stay in the loop. Plus, we hold three parent consultations each year—one per term—to discuss progress, address any concerns, and set future learning goals.
