English
Our Key Stage 2 (KS2) English program is all about sparking a love for language and literature in students aged 7 to 11. Our curriculum covers everything from reading and writing to speaking and listening, using a mix of engaging activities and resources.
Students dive into a wide range of texts, from classic literature to modern stories, while building their critical thinking and comprehension skills. We put a strong emphasis on writing, with creative exercises and structured tasks that boost grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary.
Our approach helps students become confident communicators, both in writing and speaking. Through interactive lessons and real-world connections, we create a dynamic learning environment that sets students up for future success and lifelong literacy.
Our online English classes include continuous assessments to ensure your child is making steady progress. During live-taught sessions, teachers regularly assess students through marked work, assignments, and tests. This comprehensive approach ensures that your child is receiving well-rounded instruction in our KS2 English program.
To reinforce what’s covered in our live-taught English lessons, we assign homework at the end of each week. These written projects align with the writing styles or genres being taught, helping to cement the principles learned in class. This consistent practice enhances your child’s understanding and application of key concepts.
We keep parents fully informed with 24/7 access to their child’s coursework via our secure online portal. Additionally, we offer three parent consultations each year—one each term—so families can stay connected with their child’s progress and discuss any questions or concerns with teachers.
Enroll your child in our holistic literacy program and watch them thrive both academically and personally.
