Art & Design
Lower School Art and Design offers a dynamic online environment for aspiring artists and designers at the secondary school level. Our program is designed to ignite creativity and build technical skills through a diverse curriculum that covers drawing, painting, mixed media, 3D design, and sculpture.
Students in our online art and design classes will not only master various artistic techniques but also explore the world of artists, art history, and cultural influences that shape artistic expression.
Our Key Stage 3 art and design program features ongoing assessments that focus on both creative work and theoretical understanding.
Teachers continuously assess students during live-taught lessons, as well as through coursework, assignments, and tests. This thorough approach ensures that our online art and design classes maintain high standards of academic and artistic excellence.
Each week, students receive homework that complements their online art and design lessons. These assignments often involve researching key concepts, studying artists and art movements, and exploring cultural influences in art history. These tasks are designed to deepen students’ understanding and enhance their creative skills.
Parents can stay fully engaged with their child’s progress through 24/7 access to coursework, grades, and teacher feedback via our secure online portal. This level of transparency ensures that parents are active participants in their child’s artistic development. Additionally, parents can schedule consultations with teachers at convenient times to discuss any concerns or celebrate milestones.
